Controversial housemate Seyi Awolowo, the grandson of Obafemi Awolowo has been evicted from the Big Brother Naija All Stars reality show.
Seyi stirred controversy in the house over his unconventional parenting perspective. While discussing with fellow housemates, Whitemoney and Soma, Seyi Awolowo opened up about his distinctive desire to have exclusively male children.
Seyi expressed his intention with a strong sense of purpose, explaining that his decision to have only male children is because he wants them to sleep with people’s daughters.
Seyi reinforced his viewpoint, emphasizing that he is committed to supporting his sons in every possible way.
He shared his willingness to provide his boys with the necessary resources to grow up and have good connections to run train on people’s daughters. The married reality star added that he anticipates a time when his sons will ask him for access to his Mercedes Benz and the key to the guest house, where they can sleep with girls.
“I gave birth to a boy first and he will f*** your daughter. I have a ‘shina’ account, a miscellaneous account, for my son.
“I have it for my guys’ sons and a lot of my boys’ sons. They will f*** your daughter.
“My boys will come meet me and say they need the Benz, I will give them the Benz, the key to the guest house. They will run train on people’s daughters.
I know where this is coming from. I’m giving birth to sons and they will fuck people’s daughter,” he said.
Following Seyi’s outbursts on the show, Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) issued a statement condemning his comments. The statement reads;
”We strongly condemn the comments made by Seyi Awolowo in the disturbing video that has surfaced. Such remarks perpetuate harmful attitudes and contribute to a culture of violence and abuse.
The bystander’s passive response on the video is also deeply concerning because it only enables such behavior to persist. It is important for us all to actively speak up in circumstances such as this.

In reaction to the controversy, Seyi’s management said the reality TV star’s comment “does not define his overall personality”.
During his diary session, Seyi expressed regret over the comment after Biggie, the instructive voice on BBNaija, informed him about the backlash it had triggered.
“Big Brother, I honestly did not remember that. Yes. It is very very misogynistic. I am so sorry for saying those kinds of comments. It is a very wrong thing to say. And I am just regretting it now. I cannot even remember I said those things. I am sure I said things even worse. I cannot remember the conversation in totality,” he said.
Seyi Awolowo also tendered an apology to his housemates in the lounge. He said;
“I think in between Sunday morning; I said some things to some couple of housemates at the time. I literally just remembered it yesterday, and it is something I am really not proud of. I am ashamed of it. I know probably when you guys get outside and see that clip, you guys, too, will be disgusted,”
“So I just want to apologise to every woman in the house. When you go outside, you will understand. I said some very nasty things and brashly things to my person. Not to my person but things I am not supposed to have said. And I really and sincerely apologise. These are words I am not supposed to use.”
The reality TV star took it a step further and also apologised to his wife, mother, and management.
Seyi spent six weeks on the show and is the 9th housemate to be evicted from the show.
Seyi with 3.55% votes, got the lowest amount of votes compared to IKE who got 17.76% and Pere who received 22.39% votes.
Meanwhile, Mike Edwards, who had previously supported Seyi and even voted to save him from eviction as part of the Jury, has now distanced himself due to the BBNaija star’s remarks.
“I don’t condone this behavior”, he tweeted.
Tacha, however, didn’t hold back in her response to Mike’s withdrawal of support. She admonished him to remain silent and move on, labeling him a “joker” for distancing himself from Seyi.
