Victor Osimhen is a “very good player,” according to Union Berlin technical director Michael Parensen, but his squad is not terrified of the Napoli attacker.
The Capital club, which is making its first campaign in the UEFA Champions League, has been drawn in Group C with 14-time champions Real Madrid, Scudetto winners Napoli, and Sporting Braga of Portugal.
Osimhen is likely to be one of the group’s most challenging opponents for the Bundesliga side.
Parensen stressed that his men will do all possible to halt Osimhen when they face him in the competition.

“I’m not afraid. Of course, he’s a very excellent player with a lot of goals, and we’re not afraid of him. “We will do everything we can to stop him,” Parensen told Omaports.com.
“It will be difficult to stop him. We are aware of this, but we will attempt.”
The UEFA Champions League 2023/24 season will begin on September 19.
