Semi Ajayi wants the Super Eagles to be at their best when they face Cote d’Ivoire in the Africa Cup of Nations next year.
In Group A, the three-time African kings will face the Elephants, Equatorial Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau.
Nigeria’s main rival in the group is Cote d’Ivoire.

Ajayi remarked that he and his colleagues will be prepared to confront the Ivorians.
“The bigger games bring out our best,” said West Bromwich Albion defender Ajayi.
“So, I am really excited we are drawn against the host nation, there will be more attention on us because of that.”
The Super Eagles will begin their campaign against Equatorial Guinea on January 14 at the Alhassan Quattara Stadium in Abidjan, before facing the host country four days later.
On January 22, they will play their final group game against now-familiar opponents Guinea Bissau.
