The Super Eagles‘ 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe have been confirmed.
The dates were announced on the Super Eagles X Twitter account.
On Friday, November 17, Jose Peseiro’s men will face the Lesotho Crocodiles in a matchday one match at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
Three days later, the West Africans would face the Warriors of Zimbabwe in Kigali’s Amahoro Stadium.

The other teams in the group are Benin Republic, South Africa, and Rwanda.
The group’s top team will automatically qualify for the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
The Super Eagles did not qualify for the most recent edition of the global football festival, which was hosted by Qatar.
In the playoff round, the three-time African champions were defeated by regular rivals Ghana.
