Arsenal will make a late decision on the fitness of Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, and Leandro Trossard before their Premier League match at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea.
Saka was ruled out of the 1-0 victory over Manchester City before the international break.
“He’s been working so hard to be fit for this game,” Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said to reporters on Friday.
“Let’s see how he’s doing today [Friday]. He also had a few of days off that he needed. But it hasn’t been a rest for him; he’s been preparing to be ready for Chelsea.”

Saliba was forced to withdraw from France’s team due to a “chronic toe injury,” while Trossard was taken off at halftime versus City and missed Belgium’s games due to a hamstring problem.
When asked about the trio’s status, Arteta stated, “Not a lot, we haven’t had a lot of players, it’s the first training session we’re going to do today [Friday], and we’ll know more after the session.”
