The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Ganduje, has said that presidential candidates Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi should consider contesting in the 2031 elections.
He made this statement after the Supreme Court affirmed President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 presidential election, with Justice John Okoro leading the seven-man panel in delivering the judgment in Abuja.
Ganduje, while reacting to the ruling via a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Edwin Olofu, also encouraged Atiku and Obi to collaborate with President Tinubu.
The former Kano Governor also praised President Tinubu’s victory and expressed optimism that the judgment would contribute to Nigeria’s sustainable growth and development.
“Nigeria belongs to all of us, it is our responsibility as patriots to pool our resources together to move the country forward,” the APC boss said.
“This is democracy; Tinubu’s victory is another victory for democratic rule in the country.
“There is still room for both Obi and Atiku to actualize their presidential aspiration after the second tenure of Tinubu in 2031,” Ganduje said.
Kanyi Daily recalls that Abdullahi Ganduje had been appointed as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
