Despite Manchester City’s recent troubles, Liverpool and Arsenal are still vying for second place in the Premier League, according to Jamie Carragher.
City started the season with 18 points from a possible 18, but then lost back-to-back games to Wolves and Arsenal.
The Gunners and Tottenham are now tied for first place with 20 points, two more than Pep Guardiola’s men.
In Saturday’s early kick-off, Liverpool may go top if they defeat Everton in the Merseyside Derby.
However, Carragher believes that the title race will only be competitive if City maintains their terrible form.
“The only way Liverpool – or anyone else – can win the Premier League is if Manchester City falters,” he told the Telegraph.
