Toke Makinwa, a Nollywood actress and media figure, has encouraged women in relationships not to make unreasonable demands of their male partners.
The thespian stated that it is improper for ladies to demand from their lovers what they cannot afford for themselves.
In the most recent episode of her podcast, TokeMoments, she warned women not to put pressure on their male partners.
“As a woman, you’re living in Mushin and putting pressure on a guy to buy you a house on Banana Island,” she explained. I apologise. Make it logical. Can you afford it? Can you even move yourself out of your smallness?

“If he meets you halfway and you say to him, ‘Bros, I worked hard to get halfway, but I’ve got a dream,'” My dream is not to meet you here. And I’m not a slacker. You can see the sacrifice of hard effort in my leaving this stage to get to that point. Are you going to accompany me or will you just be there?’ Period.”
