Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, a popular artist, has stated that he and his family are now living in constant fear as a result of the recent raid of his home by agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
According to the report, Skales had previously accused the EFCC of breaking into his home and falsely accusing him of being a fraudster.
Skales stated in the most recent episode of the Terms & Conditions podcast that he has received threats since his outburst against the anti-graft agency, emphasising that his life is no longer safe.
The ‘Shake Body’ singer stated that he is still free to move about because he is “clean.”
He stated that his musician, who was apprehended during the raid, is still in detention.

He said, “The EFCC operatives that invaded my house didn’t have a search warrant. Obviously, they were illegal.
“My problem with the EFCC guys is not even the fact that they are not doing what they were paid for.
“They are now using the power to oppress people. They are oppressing me right now. I am scared for my life, I won’t lie to you. I’m scared but at the same time, I know I’m clean, that’s why I’m moving around.”
