Nigerian TikToker, VeryDarkMan has visited the hospital where ailing Nollywood actor John Okafor, better known as Mr Ibu, is receiving treatment.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, VeryDarkMan dispelledthe rumors that former Senate President, Bukola Saraki had covered Mr. Ibu’s medical bills.

The social media critic clarified that the previous hospital’s outstanding bills had been settled by Saraki, not the current medical expenses.

He criticized Mr. Ibu’s fellow actors and the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) for falsely claiming to have supported the actor and then resorting to online pleas for assistance.

VeryDarkMan described the dire condition of Mr. Ibu’s legs, revealing that his feet are in an advanced stage of decay, with maggots emerging from the deteriorating flesh .

He disclosed that the AGN had received N5 million from well-intentioned donors rallying for Mr. Ibu’s cause. However, only a small sum of N700,000 had reached the veteran actor and his family.

Sharing the video, he wrote: “I’m currently in the hospital with Mr ibu,the whole news of bukola Saraki clearing the whole bill is false, dear nollywood glide stop the damage control and help or just shuuuut up and let use help (acc number 1685687982  Acc name John okafor  Access bank.”

KanyiDaily recalls that Mr Ibu recently made a public appeal to Nigerians, expressing his dire need for assistance to prevent potential amputation of his legs due to an undisclosed illness.
