Travis Kelce reportedly spent $6 million on a mansion in Kansas City, citing a desire for D more privacy amid his romance with Taylor Swift.
According to TMZ, Kelce closed the sale on Tuesday night, and his new home includes a waterfall, swimming pool, and mini golf course.
According to the publication, Kelce, 34, was uncomfortable with how accessible his prior property was and believed he needed more seclusion.
It goes on to say that his relationship with Swift influenced his decision, and that his new property is in a guarded neighbourhood. According to TMZ, Kelce paid for it with his own money and it was not a collaborative buy with Swift.
Kelce earns $14 million per year with the Kansas City Chiefs and inked a four-year contract worth roughly $57 million in 2020.
Kelce and Swift were the buzz of the town in New York this weekend, as the couple spent the weekend at Swift’s Tribeca flat.
They then travelled to New York, where they made cameo appearances on Saturday Night Live before dining at celebrity hotspot Nobu, a Japanese restaurant.
