The remains of the deceased Nigerian Ambassador to Morocco, Mansur Bamali, was laid to rest on Friday in Zaria, Kaduna State.
Mourners, both local and from beyond the state, gathered at the Emir of Zazzau’s Palace to offer their condolences to the family of the esteemed Nigerian envoy, widely regarded as an exemplary gentleman.
The Kaduna state Governor, Senator Uba Sani; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abass; the immediate governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai; and the Minister of Environment, Balarabe Lawal Abass were among the dignitaries present at the burial.
The late Ambassador, who was also the younger brother of the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Bamali, passed away in a private hospital in Lagos. At the time of his death, he held the position of Magajin Garin Zazzau in the Emirate Council.
Governor Sani, in his tribute, expressed his admiration for the late ambassador, describing him as the epitome of a true gentleman.
