Osimhen names strongest defenders he has faced

Victor Osimhen, a Napoli striker, has chosen the two toughest defenders he has faced in his career.

Christian Romero of Tottenham Hotspur and Chris Smalling of Roma, he claims, are difficult opponents to play against.

Osimhen shared some of his highlights from his time in Italy in an interview on TV Play with Mario Balotelli and Emiliano Viviano for Twitch.

When questioned about the toughest defenders he has faced, the Super Eagles player responded, “Romero [from Tottenham, ex-Atalanta] is a really good defender.” I had some rough interactions with him.

“The other defender is Smalling – one of the strongest I’ve come across.”
