Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has congratulated her mother, Rita Daniels, for her recent political appointment in Delta State.
On Monday, Rita Daniels was appointed as the Senior Special Adviser on Women Mobilization and Empowerment to Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori.
In her statement, Rita expressed her gratitude to Governor Oborevwori for deeming her fit for this important position and pledged to put forth her utmost effort to advance the welfare of women in the state.
“Delta State Governor Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has appointed a Women rights advocate, Chief Mrs Rita Daniels Chukwuji as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Women Mobilization & Empowerment.
“Rita Daniels who recently bagged her degree in law has over the years remained consistence in advancing the welfare and development of women.
“Before her appointment, she was the leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Women Wing. As a technocrat, it is believed that she would bring to bear her years of experience in delivering effective service in her office,” the statement read in part.
In Regina Daniels’ congratulatory message, she commended her mother’s appointment as a well-deserved recognition of her hard work and unwavering dedication throughout the years.
The actress, who stated this on her Instagram page, expressed her belief that this is only the beginning of greater achievements for her mother.
She wrote: “Congratulations nnem oma @rita.daniels06 on your well-deserved appointment as the (SSA) senior special assistant to the governor of Delta State on women mobilization.
“Your hard work and persistence over the years will continue to yield good fruits IJN my queen. @rita.daniels06 I strongly believe this is the beginning of more greatness nnem oma.”
