President Bola Tinubu, along with his rivals in the presidential election, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, representing the Peoples Democratic Party and the Labour Party, were notably absent from the proceedings at the Supreme Court in Abuja today.
The Supreme Court was billed to deliver its verdict on the appeals lodged by Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi challenging the tribunal’s decision that upheld President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the presidential election held on February 25, 2023.
Present in the court is the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike; the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje; the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and the National Chairman of the Labour Party, Julius Abure.”
