Sensational Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, also known as Oxlade, a Nigerian singer, has disclosed why he dropped out of his university degree programme in his final year.
The ‘Ku Lo Sa’ singer revealed that he was a student at Lagos State University, LASU, but pulled out in his final year because cultists were wanting his life.
He claimed that the cultists pressed him to join their gang, but he refused and fled the school.
In the most recent episode of the Tea With Tay podcast, presented by actor Temisan Emmanuel Ahwieh, alias Taymesan, he revealed this.

“During my university days, I was always in the church reading the bible and books,” Oxlade explained. Then, in my final year, I dropped out.
“I’ve never spoken anything like this before. I dropped out after some boys tried to get me to join a gang. My grandmother called to see where I was. I told her I was on campus, and she suggested I start visiting our family home in Ibadan.
“I travelled to Ibadan.” Those fanatics nearly killed my housemates that day. That is why I value my grandmother’s influence on my life. There is, indeed, God. And I say this with a whole heart, God has saved me numerous times.”
