Jose Peseiro, the head coach of the Super Eagles, has blamed his team’s 1-1 tie with Lesotho on bad luck.
Peseiro’s players were the clear favourites going into the game, but they were left disappointed by the visitors, who put up a tenacious display.
The Super Eagles also failed to convert several of their chances.
Kelechi Iheanacho of Leicester City had a free kick saved in the first half and hit the crossbar in the second.
Before the break, Ademola Lookman also wasted a chance.
Peseiro claimed that his team had a horrible day.
