Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has explained why his team drew 4-4 with Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.
Guardiola stood by as Thiago Silva, Raheem Sterling, Nicolas Jackson, Cole Palmer, Erling Haaland (2), Manuel Akanji, and Rodri scored to give Manchester City and Chelsea a point each.
In his post-game press conference, he suggested that Man City failed to overcome Chelsea because the game was ‘tight.’

“I don’t remember a game where we came here to get the chances we had. A millions times much worse than today, when we won 0-1,” Guardiola said.
“Their shape is really good. It happens, give credit to both teams and Pochettino will give analysis about his team. It was tight. A fair result.”
He added: “The quality they are, they push you to another level to make decisions. Right now, I think it’s a fair result.”
