Nigerian rapper, Oladips has broken his silence, promising to share his side of story after his management allegedly faked his death.
KanyiDaily recalls that Oladips’s management announced on Wednesday via his Instagram page that the 28-year-old rapper died on Tuesday night, November 14.
Hours after the announcement, Oladips’s close friend, Sir Coolest contradicted the news via his Instagram story, claiming that the rapper is alive and well.
Sir Coolest said that Oladips had just finished eating, revealing that the rapper faked his death just to promote his album to top the music charts.
On Thursday, November 23, Oladips shared ‘proof of life’, a confirmation of his well-being through a video posted on his Instagram story.
In an Instagram story posted on Friday, November 24, the rapper expressed his frustration at the irony of people laughing and cursing at him despite his challenges.
Oladips revealed that he had nearly lost his life and, to his dismay, found himself the subject of ridicule and mockery.
The rapper disclosed these sentiments alongside a brief video taken in a mosque, where he conveyed his discontent.
He wrote, “Almost lost my life yet world people dey use me laugh dey curse me. Some dey even use me do skit. Okay, I don report una give Allah.”
KanyiDaily recalls that rapper Qudus Fakoya Oluwadamilare, better known as Qdot, had previously confirmed that Oladips is still alive.
