Eniola, the physically challenged hawker from Osun State, who recently went viral on social media, has revealed why he chose to dress as a woman to sell water on the streets.
KanyiDaily had reported how comedian Brain Jotter met with Eniola and decided to offer assistance by transferring N400,000 to the hawker’s account.
Afrobeats superstar, Davido had also shown interest in helping Eniola and had reached out to his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, for support.
However, upon discovering that the hawker initially believed to be a woman, was in fact a man in disguise, Davido announced the withdrawal of his assistance, citing a feeling of being scammed.
Brain Jotter also lamented the deception, considering similar occurrences where others had supported the hawker with over N600,000 in the past.
Reacting in Instagram live video, Eniola boldly revealed his true gender, firmly asserting that he is unequivocally a man, contrary to previous perceptions.
Providing insight into his choice of presenting himself as a woman, the physically challenged hawker explained that it was a strategic decision to garner public assistance.
Eniola, who expressed his frustration with past experiences, voiced his disappointment about feeling overlooked due to his gender after persistent efforts over the years.
