Stella Maris Okafor, the wife of ailing Nollywood actor, John Okafor, better known as Mr Ibu, has raised concerns about her adopted daughter, Jasmine Chioma Okafor.
KanyiDaily had reported that Stella Marris and Chioma Jasmine are in conflict over the funds donated by well-meaning Nigerians for Mr Ibu’s failing health.
Popular Instagram blogger, Gistlover, reported that Mr Ibu’s wife desires to divert the donation funds to support her lifestyle, including purchasing an iPhone 15 and new cars.
Despite the conflict with Jasmine, Gistlover alleged that Stella managed to extract N1 million from the donation through her personal account.
Responding to these allegations via her Instagram page, Stella Maris claimed that Jasmine was attempting to force her out of her marriage.
Dismissing the allegations as malicious, Mr Ibu’s wife pledged to address Jasmine’s intrusive involvement in her family matters and other related issues.
She wrote, “Hello, wonderful Nigerians, friends, and well wishes from all over the world. I want to use this medium to appreciate everyone who has contributed to the well-being of my husband. He is responding well to treatment and we believe we shall overcome this health challenge to the glory of God.
“Recently, there have been some malicious lies being peddled against me on social media as masterminded by Jasmine Chioma Okeke who wants to make me an outsider in my own home but God forbid. I will address my family affairs and other related matters when the time is right. For now, my husband’s health is most important”.
KanyiDaily recalls that Stella Marris had previously clashed with Chioma Jasmine when Mr Ibu’s wife alleged that her husband was having a sexual affair with his adopted daughter.
