Oladips Slams Qdot For Hastily Declaring He Is Alive Following Death Announcement
Nigerian rapper, Oladips has refuted allegations suggesting he faked his death as a publicity stunt to promote his latest album, ‘Superhero Adugbo.’
On November 15, Oladips’ management declared his death through his Instagram page, but several associates, including rapper Qdot, disputed the claim, asserting that Oladips was alive and well.
A close friend, Sir Coolest also claimed that Oladips had just finished eating, revealing that the rapper faked his death just to promote his album to top the music charts.
Oladips himself posted a video to confirm his vitality, leading to speculation that he might have orchestrated the false news for attention.
Responding to these claims on his Instagram story, Oladips accused Qdot of spreading rumors about staging his death.
He claimed that Qdot hastily declared him alive on social media “at a time my family was uncertain about my condition.”
Expressing surprise at the situation, Oladips mentioned that Qdot’s actions created a false impression of recent interaction when, in reality, they hadn’t spoken all year.
“I know there is cruise. There is clout. And then there is truth! Qdot, the reason why you posted ‘My gee is alive’ at a time my family was unsure of my situation is so appalling and uncalled for.
“I dey where I dey struggle with my life, you dey post ‘My gee is alive.’ Unnecessarily misleading everyone. Made it look like me and you just had a conversation.
“Bro, I went through it and anything could have happened. The last me and you had any conversation was January 2, 2022. I get proof and I will soon tell the story in full! Cos why una dey always do like this for this industry tori olorun?” Oladips wrote.
KanyiDaily recalls that Oladips had recently expressed his frustration at the irony of people laughing and cursing at him despite his challenges.
