Nigerian superstar, Davido has expressed support for his younger colleague, Rema, who took a break from performing in December due to health reasons.
KanyiDaily recalls that Rema had announced that he won’t be performing at any event in December, citing the toll that years of touring have taken on his health and emphasized the need to prioritize recuperation.
The singer acknowledged the importance of taking a break to address his well-being and conveyed his gratitude to fans, promising a return to performances in 2024.
Reacting on his Instagram story, Davido coommended Rema for his outstanding achievements and urged him to take the necessary rest, acknowledging the physical and mental challenges of the industry.
He wrote; “The job ain’t easy… You’ve done Africa and the world proud beyond expectations… get some rest King @heisrema come back stronger.”
