Twenty-seven lawmakers from the Rivers State House of Assembly have decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
At the Rivers Assembly Complex during Monday’s plenary, lawmakers elected under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) announced their decision.
These legislators were part of the group led by Martin Amaehwule.
it was gathered that the lawmakers demonstrated allegiance to Chief Nyesom Wike, the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT)
Recall that the legislative arm of the state has been in serious crisis following their attempt to impeach the governor, Siminalayi Fubara
