Leon Balogun considers it a privilege to have won another trophy with Rangers of the Scottish Premiership.
Balogun was in action as Rangers won their 28th Scottish League Cup by defeating Aberdeen 1-0 at Hampden Park on Sunday.
It was the Gers’ third silverware for the centre-back.
During his first stay at Ibrox Stadium, the Nigerian won the Scottish Premiership and the FA Cup.
Balogun said he loved every minutes of getting his hand on the trophy.
“When I left the first time, for me, it is the most special time I had in my career and that will never change,” he told Rangers TV.
“It is a privilege for me to be here at this stage of my career and to be winning silverware again.
“The fans are second to none, I have played in some big stadiums, but they are great.
“It is great to see the reaction from the fans. I am very happy and content.”
Balogun will hope to be in action again when Rangers hosts St Johnstone in a league clash on Wednesday.
