Opeyemi Rahim, better known as Lyta, a Nigerian artist, has indicated a desire to rejoin his former record company, YBNL Nation.
Lyta said on the Ginger Yourself Podcast that he did not quit YBNL “intentionally.”
“I want to be back with YBNL, what I did back then [leaving YBNL Nation] wasn’t intentional,” he stated. I didn’t hear from Olamide before I went, and he simply locked up. But I’ve talked to him since I left. On his birthday, I messaged him on Instagram, and he responded.”
When asked if Olamide follows him on Instagram, the ‘Monalisa’ singer replied, “No. He doesn’t follow anyone on Instagram.”
Kanyidaily recalls that Lyta left YBNL Nation in 2019 after falling out with the record label boss, Olamide.
He disclosed in an interview in 2022 that he left YBNL Nation because he “heard a lot of things from friends and people in the industry.”
He added that he “didn’t know who or what to believe and some people eventually got into my head.”
