Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, alias Bella Shmurda, a popular Nigerian musician, has announced his retirement from music.
The ‘Cash platform’ singer stated that he wants to focus on being a TikTok influencer, emphasising how lucrative the social media platform is.
“I no longer want to sing.” I want to use TikTok. TikTok is a lucrative business. “From now on, I’ll only do TikTok,” he declared in a viral TikTok video.
Kanyidaily recalls that Bella Shmurda rose to prominence in 2019 with the release of the song ‘Vision 2020,’ and a follow-up remix which featured ace rapper Olamide.
He was nominated for the Next Rated Award at The Headies 2020 but lost to Omah Lay.
