Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has commented about the club’s January transfer prospects.
Arteta confirmed to reporters on Wednesday that the team has a shortlist of players they would want to sign.
However, he stated that they are unable to sell or loan any players since they require more players to improve their bench.
“Right now, it’s quite challenging. “We’re really short,” Arteta said.
“We’ve been exposed in a few positions in the last few weeks.” Hopefully, we’ll have players back; the question is when and in what condition.”
“We have specific goals and ideas,” he added. We have no idea how the squad will look in two weeks. It’s a tough market that changes frequently. If there is something that can help the squad, we are always willing to try it.”
