Amputee Doris Samuel Akonanya, a Nollywood actress and dancer, has revealed that many men enter into relationships with her out of pity.
This was stated by the actress in an interview with Yan Kontent Factory, during which she discussed her experiences in the film industry and personal relationships.
Akonanya claimed that none of her previous relationships ended well since her partners dumped her while acting as if they were doing her a favour.
When asked if she is treated differently by others, she replied that she is, but that she dislikes it because it is primarily motivated by pity. She stated that, despite her disability, she can accomplish everything an able-bodied adult can do.
Also, speaking on her source of income, the actress revealed that aside from movies, “I do get extra money on the side by taking photos and videos of myself in scanty outfits for some white guys called Devotees.”
