Nigerian businesswoman, Sandra Iheuwa alleged that her ex-husband, Steve Maduka, threatened her with a gun while forcefully evicting her from their home.
In the latest episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, co-hosted by actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, also known as Nedu, Sandra Iheuwa disclosed the reasons behind her failed marriage to Steve Maduka.
According to her, Maduka expelled her from their house, citing her purported neglect of domestic hygiene as the primary cause.
She further revealed that Maduka complained about her not cooking for him, despite having a chef and an established timetable for meals.
The businesswoman expressed her disbelief at having to perform household chores despite having a houseboy and a chef at their disposal.
Sandra recounted her efforts to adapt and perform household chores even during her pregnancy. However, Maduka insisted that she vacate the premises, accusing her of “pretending.”
She detailed how Maduka allegedly threatened her with a gun, shouting and insulting her parents while demanding her immediate departure from the house.
Sandra emphasized that she had made considerable sacrifices for the marriage, leaving her business and complying with Maduka’s demands, only to face eviction and threats.
She said: “He [my ex-husband] said I was throwing pillows on the floor and I wasn’t cleaning the house. We had a house boy so I don’t understand how a whole CEO and businesswoman has to be cleaning her whole house.
“He also said that I wasn’t cooking for him. We had a chef. He said I needed to be in the kitchen directing the chef and I said we already have a timetable.
“So, one morning, he woke me up and was like, ‘Sandra, leave my house.’ He actually threatened me with a gun. He said he was gonna shoot me. He was shouting and insulting my parents.
“I was doing everything he wanted me to do. I left my business and I was cooking, doing everything with heavy pregnancy. I will serve him food on the tray because that is what he wanted. He is a traditional man. So, I did all of that. He said, ‘Nah,’ I’m pretending.
“He said that I was pretending that if he just gave me another week, I would go back to the way I was. I told him that I wasn’t pretending that I was doing what it took to take care of my marriage, protect my marriage. But he insisted I leave.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Sandra Iheuwa recently revealed that she received the sum of N100,000 from an unknown man following her breakup with US-based singer, Morachi.
