The provisional Super Eagles team for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations has been revealed to the public.
According to ACL Sports, head coach Jose Peseiro named 40 players to the provisional roster.
Goalkeepers Stanley Nwabili and Christian Nwoke, as well as Alhassan Yusuf, have been added to the list.
Peseiro must reduce the roster to 27 players before January 3, 2024.
The Super Eagles have been assigned to Group A, which includes hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau.
On January 14, the three-time champions will face Equatorial Guinea at the Alhassan Quattara Stadium in Ebimpe, Abidjan.
