Thierry Henry, an Arsenal legend, has praised the club’s transfer target Dominic Solanke, who has been in fine form for Bournemouth in the Premier League this season.
Henry expressed his joy for Solanke, describing him as “brilliant.”
Solanke has been linked with a move to Arsenal ahead of the January transfer deadline.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is expected to press for the signing of Solanke in the January transfer window if the Gunners fail to capture Brentford’s Ivan Toney.
When asked to pick a Premier League player who has impressed him this season, Henry told Amazon Prime: “Dominic Solanke, the way he is playing at Bournemouth.”
“Not only him, but the team as a whole is doing exceptionally well, but we’ve been waiting for him to be that player.”
