Social media activist, Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, has thrown a jab at Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, upon his release from police custody.
The activist had been summoned by the police a few weeks ago in connection to cyberbullying allegations but had declined the initial invitation, citing safety concerns.
He rescheduled the meeting for January, expressing surprise at the sudden summons and suspecting foul play, particularly since he was unaware of the petitioner’s identity.
On January 10, VeryDarkMan voluntarily visited the Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Area 10, where he faced questioning regarding the cyberbullying charges.
Tonto Dikeh responded by sharing photos of VeryDarkMan at the police station on her Instagram story, boasting that when a child believe they are grown enough to talk to elders, one should not engage but rather act.
This led to speculation on social media that Tonto Dikeh was the petitioner responsible for VeryDarkMan’s police invitation.
Subsequently, VeryDarkMan was released on Wednesday night after the police interrogation.
Celebrating his freedom, VeryDarkMan posted a video on his Instagram page, showcasing himself dancing and sending a message to Tonto Dikeh, claiming that smoke cannot be caught.
In the caption, he wrote, “Can you catch smoke? Google the RATEL and come back…..Aluta continua.”
In another video, VeryDarkMan and his legal team can be seen boasting about his immediate release, asserting that Tonto Dikeh and others behind the petition would learn a lesson the hard way.
KanyiDaily recalls that VeryDarkMan recently visited Bokos village in Jos, Plateau State, where experienced a wave of violence resulting in fatalities, injuries, and the displacement of residents.
