Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has allegedly been attacked at his house by some show promoters.

It was gathered that Portable was beaten up on Monday morning over his failure to fulfill a paid performance.

Portable took to his Instagram story to share videos of a heated argument involving some men at his home.

The videos captured the men questioning Portable about the money paid to him, to which he responded by claiming that they had not fulfilled certain terms of their agreement.

In a subsequent video, Portable explained that the misunderstanding arose because he had raised his fees.

He expressed frustration, stating, “They want to use me to shine, they want to fight their helper. If it’s easy, why didn’t they feature Wizkid or Davido?

“They were like 30 or 40 men; I couldn’t count, but they ran away when my manager arrived with the police.”

In another post, the singer revealed that he sought medical treatment, sharing receipts from a hospital on Lagos Island where he is currently receiving care.

Portable wrote, “Omo ologo [child of grace] surrounded by my enemies. Na God dey cover me Zazuu. These people really did me bad, but thank God that man is not God. I am in pain, on my way to the hospital.”
