The Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has urged Nigeria’s Super Eagles to emerge victorious in their upcoming football match against South Africa on Wednesday.
In a post shared on her Twitter page on Tuesday, the former minister of finance extended her best wishes to the Nigerian national team.
She emphasized the importance of defeating South Africa as they take on the challenge in the semi-final match scheduled for today at Stade Bouaké in Bouaké, Ivory Coast.
Okonjo-Iweala encouraged the Super Eagles to effectively execute the task of winning the semi-finals, highlighting the importance of securing their spot in the finals of the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
