The Nigeria Labour Congress and organized civil societies have initiated a protest in Osun State
It was gathered on Tuesday that the protest began at Freedom Park, Osogbo, in response to the current economic situation in Nigeria.
It was also noted that the NLC and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) had, on February 8, issued a 14-day nationwide strike notice to the Federal Government over the failure to implement the agreements reached on October 2, following the removal of the fuel subsidy.
The protest was triggered by the Federal Government’s failure to uphold its promises following the ultimatum
