Nigerian singer and rapper, Cynthia Morgan, also known as Madrina, has criticized her fellow artist, Paul Okoye, for distancing himself from her.
During an Instagram live session, Paul Okoye clarified that Cynthia Morgan was never his artist, but rather signed by his elder brother, Jude Okoye.
Despite their parting of ways, he extended well wishes for her quick recovery.
“Cynthia Morgan, she is not my artiste. She was never my artiste. She was my elder brother’s artiste. They have gone their different ways. Na she sabi. I wish her to get well soon,” the singer said.
Reacting on her Instagram page, Cynthia Morgan lashed out at Paul Okoye for disassociating himself from her.
She questioned the sincerity behind his wish for her recovery and criticized him for speaking derogatorily about her.
Madrina reminded Paul of an outstanding debt for a feature she provided for him and his then-girlfriend in 2016 when he was still married to his now ex-wife, Anita Okoye.
Cynthia subtly implied that Paul cheated on Anita, echoing previous claims made by his ex-wife during their divorce.
She wrote, “You think you can talk @iamkingrudy you wish me get well soon, me and you who they sick?
Remember you are still owing me for the feature I did for you and your girlfriend who was also your artiste in 2016?
And I believe you were still married at the time? Mind yourself Paul, mind yourself”
KanyiDaily recalls that Cynthia Morgan recently shared her unsettling experience with her former record label, Northside Music, owned by Jude Okoye.
