KanyiDaily recalls that Queen Mercy Atang tied the knot with David Oyekanmi, on Saturday in a legal ceremony at the Federal Marriage Registry in Lagos.

During their civil wedding dinner, Queen Mercy revealed that she sought three specific signs from God before agreeing to marry her husband.

She expressed gratitude for the incredible impact David has had on her life, making her happiness his top priority and bringing her immense peace and joy.

Queen humorously mentioned her husband’s playful teasing about her body size, attributing her “fatness” to the overwhelming happiness he has brought into her life.

“He complains that I am getting fat but this fatness is not from food. It’s peace, happiness, and joy. I am very grateful to him for choosing me among many women in the world.

“I will love you, I will take care of you, I will be there with you, till the wheels fall off”.
