Primeboy, a close friend of the late singer Ileriouluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has taken legal action against his wife, Omawunmi Aloba, by filing a petition.
Primeboy shared the petition on his Instagram page where he also urged Omawunmi, simply known as Wunmi, to reveal the truth surrounding her husband’s death.
Expressing frustration over Wunmi’s alleged failure to heed his previous warnings to refrain from mentioning his name, Primeboy issued a stern warning, indicating that she must disclose what she knows about Mohbad’s death or face consequences.
Sharing the petition, he wrote, “I told you to stop mentioning my name…… You didn’t stop……. Now It is time to tell the whole world the truth you said you know about what killed your boyfriend (Mohbad)….. Or you face the music!!!!!!!.”
The petition, submitted by Alexime Law Associates on behalf of the late singer, was addressed to the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 2 Command, Onikan, Lagos.
In the petition, Primeboy accused Wunmi of employing operatives of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) to coerce people, including Mr. Owodunsi Ibrahim, into making false confessions related to Mohbad’s death.
Highlighting alleged misconduct by Inspector Muhammed of State CID Panti, the petition cited instances of official high-handedness, abuse of police powers, and attempts to obstruct justice, as prohibited by Section 92 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The petition read in part, “Petition against Omowunmii Adebanji (Aloba) for threat to life, false accusation and using men of the State Criminal Investigation Department SCID to intimidate and coerce Mr Owodunsi Ibrahim (our client) into making false confession of causing grievous bodily harm on Ilerioluwa Aloba (deceased ) aка Mohbad.
“Petition against Inspector Muhammed of State CID Panti for official high handedness, abuse of police powers and attempt to pervert justice contrary to Section 92 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi recently accused her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba, of working with people who harassed her husband until his death.
