Nigerian singer, Skiibii has denied allegations made by TikToker Nickie Dabarbie, who claimed that he attempted to kill her for money rituals.
KanyiDaily recalls that Nickie Dabarbie recently accused Skiibii of being a ritualist, recounting how he invited her to his house under the pretext of a boat cruise, only to allegedly try to poison her.
The influencer further detailed how Skiibii allegedly attempted to poison her by feeding her dog feces and pressured her to consume a suspicious drink, leading her to believe it was drugged.
She also shared a video of herself receiving medical treatment in a hospital, with a nurse seen stitching deep cuts on her hands, which she claimed resulted from the altercation with Skiibii.
Nickie also alleged that “Mayorkun and some other Nigerian artistes are all ritualists” as she expressed fear for her safety.
In his response, Skiibii refuted Nickie Dabarbie’s allegations as “false,” stressing that she is aiming to damage his reputation.
Taking to his Instagram story, Skiibii expressed his determination to address the situation publicly, emphasizing his commitment to revealing the truth.
He wrote: “I typically remain silent when people come for me in the media, but I feel it’s necessary to address recent events, especially when false information is being spread. I will no longer allow anyone to tarnish my image because they know Skiibii won’t run to the media to speak.
“Although I’ve remained silent on all issues to preserve peace, I believe it’s time to reconsider that approach. In due time, the truth will come to light.
“Firstly, I want to clarify that the narratives being circulated by people and various blogs are completely false, and the truth will come to light on all fronts.
“I have reported the incident to the Nigeria Police Force because there’s nothing to hide, and I trust that they will conduct a thorough investigation. I will let the law take its course to its full measure this time.”
Skiibii also shared a video depicting Nickie Dabarbie in a state of intoxication, engaging in erratic behavior in his home.
In his caption, Skiibii attributed her actions to intoxication and lamented the damage caused to his property.
He wrote, “This was a day before this incident, she came around 4 am and was outside for like 1 hour but no one was at home, then she came back the next day and all this happened.”
“She started calling people to tell them they wanted to use her and breaking things to give the impression that she’s been attacked. Omo no be small thing I see today o.”
