Nigerian superstar, Wizkid has fired shots at music executive Don Jazzy in response to a subtle jab thrown at him by Mavin Records signee, Ladipoe.
Ladipoe, a rapper under Don Jazzy’s label, recently took a swipe at Wizkid over his previous controversial remark about the state of hip hop.
Taking to his X page, Ladipoe wrote: “Nigerian rappers that survived ‘hip hop is dead’ watching Afrobeat artists go through their own.”
A fan brought Wizkid’s attention to the shade on Monday morning, but the singer dismissed it, stating, “lol never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer. Next.”
Wizkid further retweeted two posts implying that he was referring to Don Jazzy as a social media influencer.
