Nigerian singer, Jaywon has shared his thoughts on the assault video involving American rapper, Diddy and his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
A disturbing video recently published by CNN shows Diddy physically assaulting Cassie back in 2016 when they were still dating.
In the video, the rapper was captured chasing his ex-girlfriend down a hallway, grabbing her by the neck, throwing her to the floor, and kicking her multiple times.
On Sunday, May 19, 2024, Diddy issued a public apology in a fresh video where he explained that he was in a dark place at the time of the incident.
However, many people criticized his apology, suggesting he only apologized because the video was released.
In response to the backlash, Jaywon urged people to pray they never find themselves in situations where they must apologize for actions taken during their darkest moments.
The Nigerian singer pointed out that those who judge others often have their own hidden wrongdoings.
He wrote: “A lot to learn from this Diddy’s story. Pray you never find your self in a place where you have to Apologize for things you did in your dark moments or make mistakes that will be so horrible to make right cuz even the people who are worst than you will judge and crucify you…”
Jaywon also criticized Yahoo boys, stating they have done worse things. He noted that some have even used their mothers for rituals but still act righteous while condemning Diddy.
“At this point ehn Even Yahoo boys wey use him mama do rituals go crusify Diddy.. And all I’m saying is, some of y’all both men and women are worst in your closets. abi I lie?
“May God help us make we no use our own hand do ourselves,” Jaywon added.
KanyiDaily had reported how Homeland Security officials conducted raids at the residences of Sean Diddy Combs in Los Angeles and Miami.
