Nigerian singer, Portable has shared a snippet of his upcoming song “Spider Man” detailing his recent arrest over car debt.

Portable was apprehended on Tuesday for allegedly not fulfilling a debt he owed after purchasing a Mercedes Benz GLE 350 from Ogunsanwo Temitope (Temmy Autos), a car dealer in Lagos.

KanyiDaily had published a video showing the moment Portable attempted to evade arrest by climbing a fence gate to escape, but he was caught by a four police officer who subdued him.

Reports indicated that Portable only paid N13 million of the N27 million total cost of the vehicle and refused to pay the remaining N14 million.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed that Portable spent Tuesday night in police custody as he has not provided a reliable surety yet.

On Thursdays, Portable took to his Instagram page to announce his release from police custody after meeting bail requirements.

The singer also teased his upcoming song “Spiderman,” where he narrated his escape attempt from the police, hinting at the lyrics in the snippet he shared.

KanyiDaily recalls that Portable recently pleaded with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to forgive him for his past actions of spraying money on his fans.
