Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), claims that a man’s life is in danger if his wife starts dating another man.
The APC chieftain shared this view while reating to a comment from a Nigerian woman named Gina George, which said, “Once a married woman opens her legs for another man she’s indirectly praying for her husband to díe.”
In his reaction, Joe Igbokwe said that a man having multiple girlfriends doesn’t pose the same risk to his marriage as his wife dating another man.
He believes that while a man can have girlfriends and still respect his wife as his primary partner, if a wife starts dating another man, it threatens the husband’s well-being and the stability of their marriage.
“I am speaking from experience. A man can have five girlfriends but he does not play with his wife. He knows that his wife remains his wife. But when your wife starts dating another man, your life is in danger. Women are not men,” Joe wrote.
KanyiDaily recalls that Joe Igbokwe claimed that President Bola Tinubu should be considered a Christian because of his wife, Oluremi, who is a pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
