American rapper, Rick Ross and his team were reportedly attacked by members of Drake’s OVO Sound label in Canada.
It was gathered that the incident happened at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver, Canada, where Rick Ross was set to perform.
At the end of his show, Rick Ross attempted to play Kendrick Lamar’s diss track ‘Not Like Us,’ which ended Kendrick’s feud with Drake and has become a popular festival anthem.
Tensions escalated, leading to a physical confrontation between Rick Ross’s crew and the OVO Sound team.
After OVO Sound members stopped the track from being played, Drake ‘liked’ a social media post about the incident.
Social media broadcaster Akademiks, who is believed to be close to Drake, shared footage of the incident and referred to the OVO team as “goons.”
A YouTuber, Sound summarized the incident by saying: “Drake supporters in Canada got into a fight with Rick Ross and his crew for supposedly playing “Not Like Us” by Kendrick at the end of his concert.”
