The #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protesters have stormed the house of former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike in Port Harcourt.
Nyesom Wike, who is currently the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) minister, had strongly opposed the protests in Abuja.
Although the protests have quieted down in Abuja, they are still gaining momentum in Wike’s home state.
On Tuesday, August 6, protesters gathered outside the former governor’s mansion in Port Harcourt as the demonstrations continue into their sixth day.
In response, the Nigerian Police Force has sent more officers to the area to keep order and ensure everyone’s safety.
On the first day of the protests, protesters had also stormed the Government House, where they publicly embarrassed Governor Sim Fubara, who attempted to give them money for bottled water
