“My Champ, You Fought Like A Lion” – Francis Duru Announces Death Of His Son, Ifeanyi

Veteran Nollywood actor, Francis Duru has announced the death of his 15-year-old son, Ifeanyi Duru.

On Thursday, August 8, Francis Duru posted on Instagram, calling Ifeanyi a “champ” and a “lion” who fought bravely.

He wrote, “My champ! My lion, you fought like a lion. If this is the way He wants it, so be it, I still judge you faithful.

“Ifeanyi, my champ. I will miss you, son. I will forever love you. Rest in peace, son, rest. I give you thanks, Lord!”

The news shocked fans and colleagues, especially since Duru had just celebrated Ifeanyi’s 15th birthday in December 2023.

Since the announcement, condolences have been pouring in on Instagram from friends and fans, offering support and comfort to Francis Duru and his family.
