22-year-old content creator, Munachimso Brian Nwana set a new Guinness World Record (GWR) by visiting the most fast food restaurants in 24 hours.
Brian visited 150 restaurants, breaking the previous record of 100 set last year by American YouTuber Airrack.
Before that, the record was held by TikTok stars Nick DiGiovanni and the late Lynn “Lynja” Davis.
While the previous records were set in New York City, Brian Nwana’s attempt took place in Abuja, Nigeria.
He said that New York’s dense clusters of restaurants and public transportation made his attempt in Abuja more challenging due to its limited public transport options.
Brian completed the entire route on foot, covering over 25 km, starting in the Gwarinpa residential area and finishing in the city center.
He began his journey at 5 p.m., took a nine-hour break to sleep from midnight to 9 a.m., and resumed until 5 p.m. the next day.
To qualify for the record, Brian had to buy and consume at least one food or drink item at each restaurant, with at least 75% of the orders being food.
He ate enough food to last a week, sampling at least a bite from most places he visited. Any leftover food was shared among his team and the public.
