Former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayodele Oritsejafor has narrated how God saved him from cancer.
He spoke about his experience during a church event called ‘Manna with Papa Ayo,’ which he posted on social media.
Pastor Ayo explained that while he was traveling to America for cancer treatment, someone he knew was heading to the United Kingdom with the same type of aggressive cancer.
The cleric lamented that while miraculously survived the cancer, the person was flown back to Nigeria in a body bag.
He said, “While I was flying back from America, this person was being transported to Nigeria in a casket.
“How do you face cancer and still stand like this? But I have not told you when I was going to America full of cancer, you did not know, I did not tell you. I look normal because this is my way of life.
Pastor Ayo continued, “Hear me, I was on my two legs. I walked into the plane but he wasn’t. Please don’t clap, because I am not better than him, but God remembered, He remembered my heart. I have always had a heart for God.
“I told God, ‘If you save me from this, I would double my service, I would serve you twice more’. God saved me and brought me home.”
Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor is the founder and Senior Pastor of Word of Life Bible Church and was the first Pentecostal leader elected as President of CAN in July 2010.
KanyiDaily recalls that Nigerian singer-turned-pastor, Banky W recently expressed gratitude to God after undergoing his fourth surgery for skin cancer.
