Popular highlife singer, Flavour N’abania has responded after a man urged Nigerians to hide Chidimma Adetshina from him, following her second-place finish at the 2024 Miss Universe.
Chidimma Adetshina, who was the first runner-up at the recent Miss Universe pageant, had previously faced rejection in the Miss South Africa competition due to questions about her heritage, with claims that she wasn’t originally from South Africa.
After she emerged as the 2024 Miss Universe first runner-up, many Nigerians took to social media to congratulate her, while some warned that she should be kept away from Flavour.
One X user, @Harri_obi, commented, “Congrats to us, but we’re not done with Chidimma yet. Our next move is to hide her from Flavour N’abania.”
In his response, Flavour expressed his surprise and frustration, saying he was simply going about his day when he found himself being dragged into the situation.
“Minding my business and still collecting stray bullet. A whole Igbo angel. Na God get me,” he wrote.
KanyiDaily recalls that 23-year-old law student, Chidimma Adetshina was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2024, after her controversial exit from the Miss South Africa 2024 pageant.
